#OnThisDay 16 years ago, the day after a full arena of #XGames spectators, including myself, collectively held our breath, waiting for @tjlavin to regain consciousness after a gnarly fall, he returned to the venue all smiles. He was willing and eager to oblige all of us fangirls and boys, creating one of the purest moments of joy in my life. All these years later, it still tops my list of fondest memories, and is forever one of my favorite stories to tell. When I was a kid he had my love and respect for dazzling me with what he could do with a BMX bike and a mound of dirt, as an adult he’s earned it by being a purveyor of love and kindness in our ever-darkening world. 🤙
