#OnThisDay 37 years ago, two crazy kids got married. It will never be classified as the perfect relationship. Yours Truly was already in bloom, and the world tried convincing them that they were making all of the mistakes. They fought, they cheated, they burned our lives down. Opposite personalities, similar dependencies, but ultimately true love and friendship prevailed. They could make each other laugh until they cried. They supported one another with an unyielding belief. Even when one was in the wrong, they had each other’s back. They understood each other like no one else could, always finding their way home, whether it was to one another, or to themselves. Love and family, and their love for our family, kept them tethered. But it was the depth of their friendship that kept them together all those years.
